Next Web Seminar on Monday 14th June 2021 at 12:00 CE.
Next 5GCroCo web seminar relies on the work detailed in “Intermediate E2E, MEC & Positioning Architecture” with respect to the specification of the 5GCroCo MANO and SDN architectures. Moreover, it provides some insights with respect to the specific work done in the context of the Barcelona small-scale site with respect to the automated provisioning and orchestration of the Anticipated Cooperative Collision Avoidance (ACCA) service.

Speakers Bios:
Francesca Moscatelli received the Italian Laurea degree “cum laude” in Computer Science at the University of Pisa, Italy. She is working as R&D Project Manager at Nextworks, in Pisa. Her research activities include SDN and NFV, from which she matured a solid background in NFV standards, contributing to date to design and development activities in several EU-funded ICT projects. Currently, she is also contributing to the ETSI NFV Specialist Task Force on OpenAPI specification.
Ricard Vilalta received a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications in 2013 from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain. He is a Senior Researcher at CTTC in the Optical Networks and Systems Department. He is an active contributor at ONF (OTCC), ETSI (NFV, ZSM), and IETF (CCAMP, TEAS). He has been involved in several international, EU, national and industrial research projects and currently is Project Coordinator of 5GPPP TeraFlow project. He has also authored several book chapters, and more than 50 journals, 160 conference papers, +20 invited talks in most significant conferences, 3 US and 2 European patents.

5G-PPP Automotive Working Group has released a new brochure on "Trials and Pilots for Connected and Automatd Mobility" that aims at providing a schematic and visual summary of the key use cases, key performance indicators, and tests and pilots being conducted in the context of research and innovation projects funded by the 5G-PPP which contribute to enabling efficient and reliable 5G-V2X communications for CAM.

EuCNC (European Conference on Networks and Communications), in its 30th edition, supported by the European Commission; and the 6G Summit, in its 3rd edition, will be held virtually from the 8th to 11th June 2021.
5GCroCo will partipate in the following activities:
